I'm trying to help my cousin find some type of summer program that would be beneficial to a career in engineering. He is really into it, and wants to know if there are any type of enrichment programs, camps or sessions he can attend to help expand his interest in the field.

P.S. He is from the Pittsburgh area and a rising senior, if that matters.

he's a rising senior and from the pittsburgh area? he should've applied to carnegie mellon's summer academy for math and science! i went there last year and my friend's returning there, and they have electives such as chemical engineering, electrical-computer engineering (took those first two last summer), and tissue engineering among others (i.e. computer science, entertainment technology, and many more). it was sooo much fun, too, and all expenses were paid (except for your math text 'coz you have to take a math course). of course, the program itself starts in like two days, and they don't have it for college-bound peeps (rising juniors and seniors only). sorry i haven't been of help =(.
