What summer homework, if any, do you have this summer? My summer begins this Friday at 12:25...and so does my summer homework.

For AP Gov/Econ, I have to read The Prince by Machiavelli and write a review on it. I also have to take notes from our textbook for a few chapters, be prepared for a test on the first day, and write three responses from another reader. I also have to choose one liberal book and one conservative and write reviews for those.

For AP Lit, it's fairly straight forward - read Wuthering Heights and Great Expectations and write seventeen responses.

I’m not quite sure, even though my summer starts tomorrow. I know I have to read 2 books for AP English Lit and write about them. I need to do a “Math Packet” for AP Stats. I need to learn lots of Bio concepts for AP Bio. That’s it. Maybe prepare for some tests on the first day of school, but I’m not sure yet.

AP Lit: Read the Road and a book called How to Read Literature Like a Professor. No responses, just reading.
AP Environmental: Pick up two books off a reading list the teacher has provided and do to little journal entrys about what we are reading. This should be easy though, I already own one of the books- Into the Wild.
AP Studio: Create ideas for artworks.
AP Gov or AP Psych: I’m not sure which one I’m going to take, becuase AP Gov may be a scheduling conflict, but either way they both have a ton of stuff to do for summer work.
I think AP Psych even involves picking up a review book or something and doing outlining.

And I don’t have any other summer work for any other classes (or atleast that I know of…)

I read The Prince in AP Lang. Fun (insert sarcasm here).

I only have AP Lit HW. We have to read Jane Eyre, answer 156 questions on it, memorize vocab and give an example of each. That’s all worth 400 points. Then we have a test on the vocab and book that’s worth 300 points. -_-

So far only have to finish Great Expectations and read Of Mice and Men, but we still have a while before the end of the year so will probably get quite a lot more.

Honors Sophomore LA: Read Fahrenheit 451 and a couple chapters of Mythology.

AP Environmental Science: None.

AP World: You be a critic and write a through review of a movie relating to world history. We have a list to choose from. I am probably doing Hotel Rwanda.

AP Chemistry: Read the first two chapters of Chemistry: The Central Science. Do the exercises of the first three chapters of The Ultimate Chemical Equations Handbook. Do corresponding webassigns.

^ we had to write reviews on Hotel Rwanda last year in RS. An amazing, but horrible film.
Just out of interest, what other films could you choose from?

Calculus AB: Read chapter one of our textbook (just a review of algebra/precalculus functions) and complete a review packet of about 125 relatively straightforward questions.

US History: Read the first 3 chapters, complete a packet consisting of about 100 to 150 questions for each of the three chapters. Afterwards, write a DBQ.

Biology: Read 4 chapters and complete about 20 study questions for each chapter.

None for English Language or Computer Science.

All that I know about so far is to read a list of about 9 classics for Lit, but knowing my school I’ll get a few more assignments in the mail ridiculously close to when school starts.

Read Bruiser (what the heck is that?) and flowers for Algernon. Do honors Pre-Calc summer review packet.
This has been worse. The summer after sixth grade I had to read at least four very unappealing books and write a very long paper on robots.
