<p>I am a current college student and I am looking for something to do over the summer to boost my resume. I want to audition for summerstock shows, but so many of them seem to be geared toward musical theater. I have a decent voice, but not an AMAZING one. And so many of these shows seem to be rock musicals or shows fit for belters. I am not one of those types of singers.</p>
<p>Does anyone know of any summerstock theater companies to look at that focus on straight acting? Or any internships (like Williamstown theater festival has internships, but they're for musical theater)?</p>
<p>I would love to attend a summer program, but I do not have that kind of money right now.</p>
<p>By the way, I live in the NYC area if that helps.</p>
