Summer job questions galore

<p>Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me when's the normal time to start looking/applying for a summer job? And preferally not someplace like McDonalds or anything...more like...library...and there's a Kumon near where I live so maybe that too. </p>

<p>Is April too late? Is now too early?</p>

<p>It seems like alot of people get summer jobs because they have "connections" so is it possible to get a decent job without them?</p>

<p>It really varies by area--I'd talk to people you know that have had summer jobs before...maybe get them to introduce you to the boss at their job, or tell you when they applied.</p>
