hey guys.. im a 15 y/o in Houston,TX and im looking for a place to work at, or a good place to volunteer at.. if you are in houston, or know a place where I can get a job, please let me know.. also i was wondering, how do u intern at the State Rep. Office, and how old do you have to be to get an internship there...

Just get a yellow pages and look for nursing homes or call your city and ask for the volunteer director. If all else fails, go to the community centre. Real easy. Everyone is looking for free workers.

Internships... Well, did you call the city volunteer director like I told you to? I don't see why you can't just volunteer at a nursing home or hospital (or whereever it is you want to go) and talk to them about it.

you can always try volunteerhouston.org. If you are looking for a regular fast food job, Chick fil A hires at 15 years old. In regards to government internships, US Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee gives internships for high school and college students. You should try calling her offices to see what positions she has open and the qualifications.
But other than that you should follow quitejaded's advice and pick up the phone and call places where you may like to volunteer at.
