Who has signed up for them? Which session did you pick?

I have, I'm going to the first session June 15-16.

june 27, 28 b/c june 15,16 is full...

june 20/21

Im going to the 2nd one. 6/20-21

Why do you guys all want to go to the first ones. I am going on the last one. Is there something bad about this one?

i heard that classes fill up fast so its better to go to the earlier sessions

i read that they have equal amounts of spots of classes to keep it fair and everyone has an opportunity to sign up for certain classes.

I hope you're right steaky. I read sh0rtie's response and thought that I still had time to register for June 20/21. When I tried it this morning, it was full. The only other time open for me this summer is the last one, and I was getting worried about not getting the classes I want. Can anybody verify this?

When I went to an admissions session there, someone asked a question like this and they said that all the classes you want will not necessarily be filled up by the time you want to register, if you are registering later, but that you may have to take them at less popular times (ie. earlier in the morning). I'm not sure if this is correct, but just giving some input...

I chose the first one because my mom is going with me to orientation and with her schedule it was the most ideal session for us. I'm hoping for the chance to get exactly the classes I want to take since I've already made a list of exactly what I want. I guess we'll see, anyone else going to the first orientation?

protokurios, i read this online. Go to the orientation website and research around to find where I read this b/c I'm not sure what site it was. But it said that in order to be fair, they have the same amt of seats for every session. If you go to the last one, see you there!

I'm going to the first. how did you make a list of the classes you want? the catalogue on the website?

are you taking any placement exams?

Second. Physics and Math placement exams.

ill be going to the first orientation session too
i talked to my TAP advisor and she said that although classes fill up they do open new ones...so i dont think theres a huge problem if you dont go early

I'm taking Spanish and math because they are required for my major. I'll also take physics because I may want to take an introductory physics class. Might as well just spend 30 more minutes and pass that one.

I am taking the Chem, physics and math placement tests....Im really worried about the chem one cause I havent touched a chem book in 2 years

well..they have equal amounts of classes saved for each session but..if you want a certain time for a class, then it's better to go to an earlier session b/c those go out the fastest

TAP advisor? I guess it doesn't hurt to take a placement test I might not need.

tap=trojan admission pre-pharmacy
my advisor told me not to worry about the chem placement test...she said its more like a math test with chemistry terms
