Summer piano programs, contemporary music?

Hi
Our son plays piano. He takes classical lessons, but spends most of his time improvising--rock/jazz/blues. He attended the UNH SYMS program last year and loved it for the social aspects but did not get a lot out of it musically. (Actually he really enjoyed the music theory class). Anyway, he could not hold a candle to the other classically trained piano students. Any recommendations for other summer music programs that specialize in rock/jazz/blues? He is considering Berklee's summer piano workshop.

Cayuga, If you’re in the Finger Lakes area, you’re not too far away for the Robert Ocasio Latin Jazz Summer Camp at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea (a western suburb of Cleveland). The camp is short, sweet, and inexpensive.

Thanks MidwestMom2kids. I will check it out. Thanks too, Hat. I have discovered there is a summer program forum.

Berklee is very well respected —I think you’ve already found it :).

Jkiwmom–Yes I did, thank you. I have already posted this next question elsewhere, but will ask you: Do you know how well supervised the Berklee summer music program is? Our son will be a h.s. soph next year.
