Summer plans (Need help)

Hi,
I'm a junior trying to decide what to do this summer. I've worked since middle school at the same summer camp ($), but I'm not sure if I should go for something more this summer.

I'm an aspiring journalist by the way, but I want to major in economics, or something liberal arts(ish)

Should I continue working at this same place and take a college class or two at the local state university with maybe another weekend job/volunteering mixed in
or
Should I try to pursue a journalist internship (which I maybe could do because I have connections and some significant journalistic experience)?

I feel like colleges would value the consistency of me sticking with my camp job (and I would be able to fit in classes I've always wanted to take) but I'm not sure....

Anyone have any advice?

I think both options are good, but personally I would try to get the journalist internship and keep the other job as a back up. I don’t think the consistency would be that big of a factor, but it’s great that you’ve been productive with your summers. Already having experience in the field you want to pursue in college will look great.

Try the journalist internship, and if that doesn’t work out, you have the summer camp to fall back on.

Go for the internship. Good Luck!
