Hello
I'm looking for a summer program for summer 2012.
It seems as though most programs are based in Boston.
I haven't been anywhere else in the US except Boston, MA.
Want to try out another area. Any suggestions?
I'm considering, Summer @ brown, Stanford summer, Cornell, and Harvard SSP.
My parents are fine with the fees but I'm supposed to decide where I want to go.
I'm a rising senior.
Help me.
Please suggest programs where there are at least a few international students, I don't want to be the only one. (I'm Asian. living in Asia).
I'm academically motivated, want to pursue engineering in the USA after High school.

We just got our newsletter that Blueprint will be at George Washington University in DC this summer. Could be a great location for an international student. Good luck! [Blueprint Signature Summer Programs](http://bpsummerprograms.com/)

I heard they have some good camps at brown. And if u r interested in engineering then mit is a good one for science camps. Also a lot of those places like harvard, yale etc have camps to strengthen your potential as a leader and help u get into your choice college.

There will be other international students at all four of those programs.
You can cross Harvard off your list if you are not interested in spending more time in Boston.
I don’t think the course lists are released yet for the remaining programs…you could wait and choose the most appealing class.

Summer@Brown was a great program and there are a ton of international students! People are really friendly and it was fun to explore Providence, RI. Beautiful campus too :)

I went to Brown last summer. Best thing ever. I miss it every single day.

I am into engineering, astrophysics/chemist

The Stanford EPGY might have a couple science/computer related courses. And then like the others mentioned there is summer at brown, there is a science research program at the Rockefeller uni in ny, it’s free but doesn’t offer housing. Oh there is also the Clarks program and the Garcia program, both are science but I’m not sure if they are for international students.

If search this forum with the key word science, there should be couple posts.
