Hello. I'm currently a junior and I will be applying to some very selective schools next year (Harvard being the top choice). I have good grades, decent ECs, good scores on exams, first in the class.. etc. As you know, everyone applying to ivy league schools has this list of things going for them. I know it's important to do something you care about during the summer to make your application stronger (besides the self-enrichment). My 'hook' (using the term liberally here) would be science research so I applied to some summer science programs. I got into SSP and Simons Research Program (at SBU), I am also probably going to hear from WTP (at MIT) soon. Now to get to the point: I am not sure what will the best choice for me. I know that these programs would all be enjoyable and beneficial, but I am also trying to better my chances of getting into college.
Simons may be the least well known, but its SBU's version of RSI and I've already been working with my scientist during the spring.
SSP and WTP may be more well known, but it's not as if an Intel project or a strong letter of recommendation will come from them, yet many of their alumnae go off to fantastic schools.

What do you guys think? Would any one help me more than the others?

Thank you.
