Summer Quarter transfer chances better than fall?

I want to transfer to UW for next year. I will be a sophomore, which I know gets lower priority in the decision process. I can take summer quarter classes if I have to. Are my chances of getting in in summer better than fall?

I assume fewer people apply for summer quarter.

Bump. Anyone know?

Well, I would ask a UW admissions advisor/counselor. I believe they accept a certain amount of transfer students and divide that into four quarters. And as far as taking summer quarter classes non-mat, it would help, if you did really well. Make sure your GPA and credits are within range of most applicants. Good luck!

If your concerned about your gpa and credit, you could post them here to get feedback. Or you could ask a UW admissions advisor/counselor.

I heard that summer is a totally oddball quarter to transfer into so it’s easier. They’ll run out of spots slower.

Thanks for the replies. I am not worried about my GPA. I am transferring from a 4 year school though, so I know those transfers are lower priority than cc transfers. I will have 44-45 college credits plus 15 AP credits.
