Summer reading?

Hi! My friend is going to NYU this upcoming school year, and she can't seem to find what the summer reading assignment is. Would someone mind helping her out? (She doesn't have an account, so I'm asking for her.)

Also, is it optional or mandatory?

Thanks so much!

They should have mailed her something with the book listing.

She lost it, and she can’t find it on the site either.

Which school is she in? I haven’t heard anything about an assigned reading…

by and by, she could just call.

Yeah I have no idea what that is, I’m in CAS

heyy i just got back from orientation and the book that we’re supposed to read is called Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer

Don’t worry. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is an amazing book. We had to read it as summer reading 3 years ago. Do people from Stern have summer reading as well?

Does everyone get summer reading? I’m in LSP and our summer reading is Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi.

Yeah, I think everyone must have some kind of summer reading. I’m in Tisch and we have to read Krik? Krak! by Edwidge Danticat.

Stern has no REQUIRED summer reading!

They gave suggestions, but basically for your own personal benefit.
