I’m probably overthinking this, but should I state that my summer research was paid (through a program)? I want to distingush that I was carrying out my own project under mentorship and not just doing menial tasks, but it’s definitely not something that is tangible enough to be submitted to ISEF or Siemens (it’s in immunology, and this is more about the learning experience for me than anything else).
