Okay so I have to take over the Living Environment Regents in August which means I have summer school but the problem is that I’m going to Florida and I already brought the ticket and it’s no refund so like I was wondering if I could not go to summer school Because I passed that course already but I could be back in time to take the Living Environment Regents over when I come back. Plus In Florida I have a tutor in Florida when I get there so I wouldn’t miss out in summer school. So is it possible I could not go to summer school but take the Regents over or it’s a requirement to?!!!??
That’s a question for your individual school-- policies vary widely.
In GENERAL, the rule seems to be that you need summer school if you failed the course, not the exam. But that may not be the case in your school. You need to call the guidance office of your high school today and ask them.
You’re positive that you’ll be back in NY well in advance of the August date, right?
Assuming that it’s OK to miss summer school, you’ll want to have a set routine of reviewing-- say, every morning from 11 to noon or something. Otherwise it will be way too easy to procrastinate and let this thing get away from you.
Call your school this morning OK?
