<p>hey guys, i have to take summer school this year (got a D in ap euro first semester, dropped it and now i'm in world history). my counselor told me i have to take world history during the summer if i want to go to college, but i was just wondering if i only have to take 1 semester? i've never gone to summer school before in my life, so i don't really know how it works..does it go by semester? or do i just have to take the whole class? thanks</p>

It depends on how your school schedules it.</p>
<p>At my school, they split the classes into two semesters, each lasting a month. If your school does that, only take the semester that you fail.</p>
<p>Why didn’t you stick in AP Euro and pass the exam? Does your school not have a policy like that? How did you get a D?</p>

<p>Idk, I didn’t think I could get a 5 on the test. So it wouldn’t really matter…so i just dropped it. World history is so easy
