hey guys im slightly worried. i am an international applicant, so my deadline was feb 5th. but i can still for some reason edit my answers? and also the word limit for answers has exceeded so now it looks like i have absurdly short answers but idk if i should change it or not?
this is really wierd… why can i still edit them
OMG why did the essay maximum length suddenly increased without informing ahead of time?
So freaked out! I already truncated my essay as far as I can, and now it’s 1500 character limit?!
WOAH!
the 8th short answer question confuses me a little bit, if we haven’t been “subjected to any school or legal disciplinary action” should we just answer “No” ? It feels weird using just 3/1500 available characters…
@Runkeeper Yeah, from what I understand, the school should send them an official transcript by email, fax, or mail. They don’t take unofficial transcripts from students
For the last 3 questions for the essay portion (listed below), my answer is basically “No.” But like @sm121412 I would hate to waste all those characters…
Is there a broader context that we should know about when comparing your qualifications (including grades and test scores) to other applicants?
Would you need any special accommodations (medical or otherwise) in order to fully participate physically, academically, and socially?
Have you ever been suspended or subjected to any school or legal disciplinary action?
@essyr2017 did you include current grades like it asks for? Because my transcript only includes the fall semester. And specifically how did you send it?
@kattymiao I emailed them my current transcript (freshman year- junior fall semester) in pdf form, and they were fine with it. You also need to ask your counselor to send an “official” transcript to SSP. I don’t think this step was originally stated in the online app, but they followed up with me for it.
