Yeah i got into session A as well. Anyone from Ohio?

Still waiting... is it a good idea to follow up on my application because I sent it in on the first day and already had an interview with my ALO??

Wow guys, yesterday I got a letter from the USAFA, so I was getting all excited, and I opened it... but it was just a regular letter telling me that the Pre-Candidate Questionaire will be available soon. Oh well.

I got that too! I was going through the mail after getting back from a trip and I saw the thin letter. I was so scared it was a rejection letter or something. Why do they send letters like that out while people are waiting to hear about SS?

Exactly! I was thinking, "I though we got notified via email first..." so i got scared.

I got that letter too. Do you think it is a more of a "you didn't get in, but doesn't mean don't apply next year" kind of thing? If anyone who got accepted could let us know if they got the letter it would be a big help.

I got that letter too, but I'm under the impression that it was just information about pre-candidate stuff, letting you know that it started March 1st and that you're in their database. I seemed separate from SS. I had my interview with my ALO yesterday so... hopefully I'll know soon! If I'm accepted I'm hoping to go Session A because of the Regents schedule... NY... grumble.

I got that letter and I was accepted to SS so no it does not mean that you have been rejected from SS. As lforlaur said it is just a standard pcq letter that they send out to everyone on their mailing list regardless of SS.

I will also be in session A due to my regents schedule in NY. So far, if they don't change anything, i'll only miss the Math B Regents.

Sweet, I'm doing session A because of regents too. Have you gotten the acceptance e-mail yet?

No, I know it was a standard letter but when I saw it, it freaked me out because it bore a remarkable resemblance to the letter I received from West Point informing me that I had not been selected to participate in this year's summer seminar.

Get used to that ;]

No I have not gotten an acceptance email yet. I'm not too worried though. I had a great GPA and a great recommendation from my ALO, but my PSAT's weren't too hot... low 50's on the English and 62 on the math. I hope the PSAT's don't ruin it for me.

yehh gglock, im from NY too. I was originally accepted into session a but i switched because i'd be missing a bunch of regents (including math b). it also was one day after i'd get back from the west point seminar, so my alo helped me out and switched it for me. where in NY are you from?

Smithtown, Long Island. I'd have to miss the last 2 days of school.

Representin New York. yeye

From Westchester county over here.

Hey, can I join the New York club?
