I'm a junior this year and I sent in my Summer Seminar Application maybe 2 days ago and I couldn't find out if I'm able to resubmit my application because I'm taking the ACT in February again and I want to send in better scores along with finishing my Sports questionnaire since I wasn't able to get ahold of my old Marksmanship coach

You cannot resubmit or alter your application. For the real USNA app, yes you can continue to send in scores (not yet though, I believe.)

Does anyone know when candidates will find out if they have been accepted and which week they need to report?

Acceptances/rejections go out anytime until April to May or so. It depends.

I was just accepted to the First Session for 2014. Anyone else?

My daughter was just accepted for the third.

i just got accepted to the third session too

I’ll be in the first session, as well. I’m kind of nervous because I can’t swim nor do I consider myself athletic in any way, so… I’ll hope for the best.

My son got into USAFA Summer Seminar, but has not heard from USNA. How did you hear?

@usafa92 My d was told of her acceptance by an email on April 15.

To all you kids that have been accepted…worry not!! My son attended last year, he had the greatest time ever. Enjoy… For now make sure you prepare yourself for the CFA. Set a daily workout to match the expectations of the test. My son started working out on April 1st and when he took the CFA he did very well.

For the parents, there are some killer places to eat in town. For the hubby that likes a cigar there is a shop where you can purchase, sit in the back of the store, light it up and just relax. Give the kids a $20 for ice cream and $500 to the wife for some shopping. Let them run off and you can just sit back and chill!!

Hey everyone. I’m planning to apply for the 2016 summer seminar at USNA. I was wondering what the ballpark SAT score would be? Also does USNA send out acceptance emails for the seminar before the deadline?
@purpledog354 I went to last years NASS and they only look at your two part SAT I believe. My two part was 1320 at the time I applied for NASS.
For last year, they said everyone would hear back on April 15. However, I received an acceptance email on March 31 and it said I had until April 12 to submit the forms and payment, otherwise I would lose my spot. Most kids found out on April 15th, though.
@honeybadger7 so would they automatically reject you if you had below a 600 in CR for ex. on the sat or could you make that up with clubs and sports?
@purpledog354 No. When I applied I had 560 on CR. However, you still want to stay competitive with clubs and sports on your application.
Okay. I currently have 540 in CR, and 680 in both Math and Writing. I am a part of about 9 clubs at school and have a 3.9 ish GPA on a 4.0 scale. How do you think my chances are?
