<p>HNeedle nailed it right on the head. At SS we did four-count flutter kicks, so we would count off "1-2-3-1, 1-2-3-2, 1-2-3-3..." The most we ever did in one set was 40, but being able to do a lot more will only benefit you.</p>
<p>For all of you SS acceptees, check out this video for some good insight as to what Doolie For a Day might hold for you this year. It's only ~5 minutes of action out of a 10 hour beatdown, but it's better than nothing. </p>

<p>i didn't get in to the summer seminar but this has motivated me to do better on my ACTs and actually get into the academy...has anyone ever not made it to the seminar but got into the Academy with out the prep school</p>

<p>Has anyone else who sent in their packact for SS gotten an email from the office saying they received it? The info packet said they would send something when they received it, but I haven't gotten anything and its been about a week since I sent it.</p>
<p>Ya... I got a reply from them. I'm hoping I didn't screw up my classes though cause I sent in the scantron sheet the exact day I got the email saying we had to include that one class. Oops! :-O But I did get an email saying they recieved my stuff.</p>
<p>Well, it would take some time to get my stuff there from VA, but nothing this long. I tried calling, but I didn't get home in time to get in touch with someone. I just hope it didn't get lost in the mail, or I could have one REALLY big problem on my hands.</p>
<p>No, I don't think any of us cadets on here will be doing SS this year (correct me if I'm wrong please)...but I hope to do it the following year for all ya'll hopeful 2014ers out there.</p>

<p>Sorry that you did not get into Summer Seminar. However, my son also did not get in last summer and I am happy to report that he will be entering the USAFA with the Class of 2012. Did you apply to the other academy seminars?</p>

<p>I did not apply to any other academy seminars, although I wish I had. However, I am already working twice as hard. I am so motivated, that as of right now, I have above a 95% in all of my classes, including two AP classes, I joined Senior Advisory Board, I am running for vice president in Student Government, and many many other things. I have also read the Air Force Academy Canidate Book which opened my eyes to how hard I need to work. Now I just need to get those darn test scores up.</p>

<p>Hello! I got accepted to USAFA SS Session A a couple weeks ago and had to switch to Session B due to another leadership camp!
I was amazed when I got accepted because I feel my grades are mediocre... but i do have alot activities etc... ( if you would like to know em' just tell me!)
I am very anxious but also nervous because I am a "girly girl" and after reviewing the video on youtube, i decided to cancel my nail appointment june 14th :)
Anyway.. i joined college confidential to inform all the session B'ians that the students accepted are on every website trying to figure out who all made it!
For instance, I have a facebook and there are several folks from Session A and B who have created a group to pre-introduce themselves before meeting in Colorado!
Same for myspace and meebo!</p>
