Summer Session for Incoming Freshman

I was just wondering.. would taking a Summer Session help me graduate earlier? And would it also be cheaper? I'm considering taking Summer Sessions to get some classes out of the way. I'm considering majoring in Business Economics, along with a minor in Accounting.

So would it help?

Yes, taking summer class can help you graduate earlier, and they tend to be cheaper, and they tend to be easier.

Just wanted to point out that the price for summer classes is $256 (or something like that) per unit, whereas during the school year, they’re all included in the tuition (no change in price between 14 units and 19 units), so that’s actually kind of relative.

If you want to graduate sooner and save money, go to summer school at a community college and make sure the courses are equivalent by checking out assist.org.

Is the Chemistry taken during the College Summer Institute different/easier/harder than what most freshman take in their first Fall Quarter?

Keep in mind that assist.org is NOT completely accurate, so you want to check with your counselor as to which courses will actually transfer.
