Are any new UC transfers taking summer classes at their UC campus?? I am thinking of signing up for a summer class but I was wondering if this is a good idea or not?? help me out?

I’m taking one at UCSB. I think it is a great idea because you can get acquainted with the courses, the campus, and the opportunities with a lot less people on campus. Obviously, it would allow you to take a few more classes before graduating which will help you make the most out of undergrad education. You’ll be able to get familiar with the area and maybe have an extracurricular opportunity that would not be available otherwise.

those are some good points… im going to do session 2 for sure but i was just wondering if it would be too much to do both sessions…I know i would only be doing one class per session but I just hope i can do it! im a little nervous haha

I am not transferring this fall, but I am still taking upper division summer courses at UCB to demonstrate interest in the campus and my major.

I am only taking a class in session A which ends in August giving me about five or six weeks of break on either side. But if you can handle it without having burnout, more power to ya. This past spring semester killed me so I need some time off.
