I have a question about summer storage. I'm an international student so most of the stuff that I have in my dorm I'm not going to take back home. I have several sets of drawers, a fan, a tv, a guitar, tons of books and other random crap, a suitcase full of winter clothing. Plus, I'm an architecture student so I have all of my architecture supplies as well, drafting boards, T squares, etc, etc. I was wondering what were good options for a big enough summer storage since most of the websites I've checked out offer boxes no bigger than 18"x18"x18' and some of my stuff i don't think will fit in that.

We have always used storage at AA Mini Warehouse-Grape Road. Check their website. It appears that they may have storage 10’X30’. That is a pretty large sized unit as we have usually stored in a 5’X10’ unit and stored futon, office chair and entertainment center, small storage chest, fan, etc. You may have to stack things vertically, just like you do in the dorm!

also dorms usually have trailer come on campus and you can put your stuff in there - the only problem with that method is that you don’t get your stuff back until Monday before classes and you have to put your stuff in the trailer on Saturday so it is very impractical.

but there are a good number of storage facilities - ask your RA or other people in the dorm who have done it before.
