Summer studying - Will it work?

So I haven't taken the SAT yet but my practice tests average is ~1850-1900 (630M, 630WR, 600CR).

I'm not pleased at all. I'm hoping to score at least a 2100 by the time i take the October test. Is this a feasible increase if I study diligently during the summer? What score(s) would be easiest to improve on and roughly how long would it take to achieve an 800 in that sections? Thanks guys!

of course it’s feasible. it doesnt mean that you have to live side by side your SAT books the whole summer, but with a reasonable amount of time put into it you can increase your score.

I’d set aside a day or two per week where you’re going to spend some time (about an hour or two) to study. Don’t kill yourself. Go over some vocab words if you want. (I was able to get all of the vocab right with no studying, but it really depends on who you are.) As the summer goes on, you should be shifting from reading sections in your book & learning strategies to practice tests. If you stick to a plan like this, I’m sure you’ll see a significant increase in your scores.
