<p>Does anyone have experience with Summer TAP (accelerated study) awards? If so, do you know if they are only awarded up to the cost of tuition or if summer generally has it's own COA (including books, etc.) at SUNY schools? I can't find the answer on UB's website and D can't seem to get her question answered by the FA people, so we are unsure whether she should apply or not. It's unlikely that she'll be able to use her full 8 semesters of TAP eligibility as she won't be considered an undergrad after junior year, and she seems to meet all the eligibility criteria for accelerated study, so it makes sense for her to use it for her summer classes for the next three years. If she applies via the HESC website and it turns out that the award is limited to the balance of her tuition (under $200 after another grant), can she rescind the application?</p>
