<p>I just got a letter in the mail asking me and my family to a Summer Transfer Eveing at the Southampton campus 7/9- did anybody else get this and what is involved if you go? Does anybody know any details on this? I just wonder why they are doing it all the way out east when I am attending the campus in Stony Brook. I would like to meet other transfers so I will go if I could get some info on this. Also, they aren't giving a whole lot of time in advance for this night so I am thinking anyone not from around this area transferring to SB will not be able to go with such short notice.</p>
<p>Forget it, I answered my own question! I went to the Southampton website and it is an open house to transfer to that campus- a tour and on-the-spot decision. I guess it is a totally separate campus and they are trying to recruit me- not realizing I am already enrolled at the Stony Brook location! So of course I won’t be going to this! Just a little confusing that I DID transfer to the Stony Brook location and I get this invitation!</p>
