<p>Hey, i know most of you guys on this board are waiting for your regular decisions for fall 09, and some of you got already notified of whether you got accepted or not... when do you think that will be happening for transfers for Fall 09? i know that on the website they said that not until april, but i've seen people who applied as transfers (for spring 09) but didnt get their notifications until mid december ... i would be freaked out if that happened to me. </p>
<p>i also heard that stony brook was REALLY busy with admissions this year cuz there were a LOT of applications.. is that gonna delay the transfers admissions decisions? </p>
<p>PS. i submitted my application back in december.. is that gonna help me get my notification letter early?</p>
<p>I don't think we've sent out any transfer decisions at all yet. Yes, handling all the freshman apps pushed the transfer decisions back quite a bit. Probably within the next week or so, we'll send out the first batch. Did you send your most updated transcript(s)?</p>

<p>Someone from the SBU page on Facebook (an SB blogger) said it'll most likely start during the last week of March. I'm betting that since I have less than 24 credits, they may ask me to resend my transcript when I have 24+ credits (at the end of the current semester). I'm skeptical though, because Chris' blog seems right in saying that they'll most likely be through accepting applications by the beginning of June.</p>
<p>neutralzone, I just checked my application status on SOLAR and it changed from what it was at 2PM this afternoon, so go check your SOLAR account.</p>

<p>My application status changed from the "Thank you for apply to Stony Brook..." status to the "Your Application is Complete. The admissions committee will be making a decision shortly." status.
I still don't have the New Student tab that so many said they got before their application status changed, though, so I'm not leading myself to any conclusions for now.</p>
<p>I see a for new students folder on my solar login as well as a financial aid tab. Hope that means I got in, though my application status says "Application is complete, a decision would be made shortly"</p>

<p>Hey guys yes I am a transfer student graduating this June. I applied in January but didn't send my transcript until the end of February. These are the links on my front page. It wasn't there before. My application status still says my application is complete and a decision will be made shortly. </p>

kind of just wanted to know if they got my transcript.
the woman was like: "we will be in touch with you if anything is missing."
great now I have to wait another whole weekend without knowing.

<p>Calm down it's the weekend and you've heard, record numbers applied this year, they may not have reviewed your application yet.</p>
