So it's already April and I'm at a total loss about this summer. I applied to HSHSP and I'm still waiting. Honestly, though, I don't think I'm gonna get in. I got into Harvard SSP, and I actually really want to go, but my father thinks that I'm just going to party all night and waste my time...so he won't let me. I guess my only choice is staying home. I don't want to do that. So if you guys have any suggestions on how to spend a (productive) summer, like community college classes, etc., please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Do you have any hobbies? Do you play an instrument or do any sports? If so, then you can turn your passions into a community service project. If you play soccer, start a small soccer league with inner city children. If you play piano, perform for local medical centers and volunteer to teach hospital patients to uplift them with music. You can also become a camp councilor or a tutor, or you can apply for youth trips.
Gaming takes up a ton of my time even though I don’t want it to sometimes but you can spend countless hours…i mean countless hours on a single game. I played about 1200 hours of starcraft over the course of 2 years
