Ugh, can ED'ers go to any of these events?

hahah but they already lured you, they don't need to convince you anymore, right? i guess you could ask admissions, lol

Can anyone put up a copy of the Stern Scholars invitation pleeeease? We cannot find ours, and all I can remember is 9:00 a.m. on Sunday April 3rd.

"depending on the school...i know Tisch is 4%"

The 4% is for film only..not all of Tisch. Film is by far the most competitive program, the other Tisch programs are not on the same leve.

so wait, getting the University Day invitation doesn't necessarily mean I'm accepted?

actually, i may have seen a thread with this topic, if so, ignore this post lol

Can we do an overnight the weekend of Sunday at the Square, or are we expected just to stay at a hotel in the area?

jaina i'm sure you could call up and ask. i think i need to do an overnight to seriously compare the differences

afaforce
Thanks for posting the link. It actually did not work, driving me to look even deeper, and more helter skelter than before, for the invitation, and I finally found it (won't say where).

NYU does not host overnights, unfortunately. You would have to stay in a hotel, or find a student on your own. Which other schools are you trying to compare it with??

There is no "campus" feel to NYU, you are literally walking on busy streets with executives, models, and homeless people. Gotta love it!!
The dorms are reputed to be the most spacious and well appointed you can find.

i'm mainly, right now, comparing it to northwestern
and lol sorry about that!! you should've just asked for the date hahah that's all that's really on there that you didn't know off the bat

yeah, i know it has no 'real' campus =/ but the city is awesome =)

chocoholic - any place within a 3 block radius of NYU there are people who are obviously NYU students. The stores, the streets, cafes We were at Wash Sq on Sunday and that night after dinner in Chinatown, went to a cafe on McDougal St (Esperanto) it was chock full of NYU students drinking cappucino, looking over eachohters' work, talking, surfing on their laptops with the cafe's WiFi.

It may not be an isolated buccolic tree lined campus, and it's not set apart in a walled enclave like Columbia up in Morningside Heights, but you know where you are and why everyone else is there too.

Hey, can anyone tell me the time and location of the Sunday in the Square Event for Gallatin? I can't find my invite. I think it was at 10:30 at the main Gallatin Building (715 B'way?) but I can't recall for sure.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

B

who do you think i should contact if i can no longer make it?

admissions office?

yeah i called... and uh, never RSVPed. ooops... my bad..he.he...he.
