<p>I just got a Sunday at the Square invitation yesterday. I'm psyched. I applied to the CAS at NYU. I'm likely going to be an economics/math major, I also have pre-med in the back of my head (but I doubt I'll pursue that).</p>

<p>Stats:
Gpa: 3.7 at a top boarding schoool in CT.
SAT I: 1600
SAT IIs: 790 Math IIC, 750 Writing, 690 bio
*national merit
Major ECs:
Varsity basketball and tennis (not a recruit though)
Young Republican club-Vp
Volunteer work in Latin America for a summer</p>

<p>-also had a bunch of other fluff-clubs and other stuff..mostly application fillers, nothing serious</p>

That's pretty sweet. Were you there for the March 1st audition, by any chance? Just because you didn't get one doesn't mean you didn't get in. You'll either get one in the next few days (some kids apparently got their letters a few days ago) or you'll find out by April 1st. Best of luck</p>

<p>I got one of these today (March 16). I've never heard of this and thought the envelope was too small to be anything important. Going by some of your stats this is pretty big ****. Throw me into the mix...</p>

SAT II 800 (Writing), 700 (Math IC), 690 (Chem)
4.0 GPA, school doesn't rank (but top 5%)
2 APs taken (5s on both), enrolled in 4.
National Merit Finalist / Corporate Scholarship winner
And of course, ECs.</p>

<p>I'll attend this 'cause free food is free food, but I really want to get out of New York (I live in Brooklyn and already go to school less than 10 blocks from NYU) so I don't know about enrolling in the fall.</p>

<p>BTW, I applied to Stern and my letter says something about the "Stern Scholars Program" so I guess all the colleges are doing it.</p>
