I made it too!! Awesome! BTW, I'm from Brooklyn too. =)

So those in Brooklyn already got theirs... and the rest of us must patiently wait to see if we get one. And I don't get mail on Sundays.... drat.

Where are you guys who are waiting? Anyone from some other borough in NYC?

I currently live in a boring suburb about 40 miles south of DC

i live just outside of houston texas. BUT i applied to tisch and from what i just heard, tischies have to wait longer because their invites are to a separate event (frustratinggg)

I live in Manhattan (in New York City) and I haven't gotten one yet. But I'm slowly losing hope that I will. I applied to Gallatin, would that effect it?

Really Scarpnel? I didnt get one, and it made me sad. Thats good to know!

I live in a suburb of NYC.

It might just be for CAS.... Don't take my word for it, though.

Nope, i applied to Gallatin and the card was addressed from Gallatin's Dean of Admissions. At least mine was.

Hmm.. Okay, well then, I was wrong. Well, not everyone gets these invitations, right? So there's still a chance for those of us who don't receive one.

I live in Manhattan and I got mine today.

i did some research on past forums and they said that only some people receive it. it's kind of like likely letters (from ivys) but from nyu.

so to those who didn't get one yet, don't lose hope!

and i live brooklyn, so i'd receive it alot sooner than people out of state.

and btw, mine is from the dean of CAS. I think they have either different locations or times or dates for each school.

i think tisch is the only one that sends them out later. im trying to remember what all i read from the thread from last year. i think they listed cas, stern, steinhardt, and gallatin as all being the same time. never heard anything about the school of social work. gspers dont get them. tisch is later. am i forgetting a college?

Dunno.

Do you know when they send out the Tisch ones? I applied to CAP21, with Adler as a second option.

The Tisch invitations to Saturday in the Square will be out this week, if last year is any indication. I checked with a friend who got one last year, and he received it around March 18.

I live in NYC (Brooklyn to be exact) and I got mine yesterday :)

I'm guessing that anyone out of the state of New York has not gotten one. Is it reserved for NY students only?

It isn't reserved for NY students only; it just takes longer for people outside the area to get it. I didn't get my Brandeis acceptance package until a week after it was mailed-- be patient, especially if you live far away from the school. :)

No, it's not reserved for NY students only. Applicants from across the country will get invitations. Patience.
