Waiting on SOM after deferral in January
Hopefully harpur is tonight. Crossing fingers
deferred EA, applied to decker for nursing⊠still havent heard
I saw an article, I will try and find it, that applications to Bing in general were up 3% but Decker Nursing was up 33% this year! I think that is part of why it is taking so long for Decker. Good Luck to you.
same as me! between Bing and SBU just need Bingâs decision
ahh thats good to know. getting in would be nice, but i already have offers from villanova and michigan, so i wouldnt be hurt. the in state tuition would be very nice tho
I wonder what the SOM stats were this yearâŠ
Hi there! I also applied to the SOM and this wait is unbearable!
Crazy!! I hope we donât get off the deferred list just to hop on a waiting list. Then again is a waiting list good news because youâre not rejected? Itâs hard to guide my kid through this but Iâm trying to stay positive!
I am waiting to hear from the Watson school, computer science major. I had applied for Early Action and was deferred to regular decision. I am hoping that since I have not heard yet it doesnât mean I was rejected.
This was my top school. I was accepted to RIT but it is so much more.
I was also accepted to Suny Buffalo, Suny Poly, clarkson, and Lemoynte but Binghamton has the best computer science out of them except RIT.
Letâs just hope we both get acceptance letters! I believe they are most likely releasing their large wave next week.
Does anyone know if people have been rejected from early action? I thought a deferral was a positive thing and a good chance at getting admitted RD, but literally everyone I have seen who was not accepted during EA just has been deferred.
I was EA but then transferred to Regular Decision. That is the same thing as deferred?
Yes, that is what being deffered is.
Thank you, I almost think it would have been most fair to let us know in the first group. Even if I was getting rejected, I just want to know, I feel it will sting more waiting until the end of the month. I am hoping we will be congratulating each other soon!
Indeed, I hope they arenât sugarcoating rejections just by deffering us. Good luck to you!
Yes, you can get rejected EA.
Yes, I had a friend who got rejected EA. Didnât have great stats, but he did have good extracurriculars and essays. It seems that EA was very stats based and anyone who didnât have a certain GPA (probably around a 3.7-3.8 uw) didnât get in.
You should do a down payment just in case. Better late than never. Lastly make sure itâs refundable as well.
I hope so
