hi, i am an internatioanl student and i just graduated nassau community college in long island.i got accepted in both schools but dont know which one to choose.my major is international business.

any views ,any comments regarding life style academics or anything else will be highly appreciated.thank you very much

I don't know anything about the International Business program but my S loves Plattsburgh. He likes the students and loves his professors and classes. He's not crazy about the freezing cold temperatures but there's nothing you can do about it. They just deal with it. There are plenty of places on campus to eat. There's a place called the Blue Room in the college student center where you can hang out and study and get a coffee. You can also pay to take online classes during the winter break and during the summer. It's a great way to help speed up getting your Bachelor's. He's always writing papers and preparing for discussions and presentations.
There are bars downtown and malls uptown. Most of the drinking takes place at house parties off campus. The campus feel is friendly.
Make sure you visit both colleges before you make a commitment.

I'd say Brockport. Do yourself a favor and take a closer look at Brockport.

But...call each department, schedule an interview with the department head and discuss your goals and plans. Then see which is best for YOU! Each school should be willing to explain their strenghts as they relate to you. Don't base such an important decesion upon the advise of a discussion board. Do a little leg work and visit the school afterwards.

I used to attend Plattsburgh. It's a great college, ridiculously friendly people there. I believe Nursing and International Business were two most popular majors at Plattsburgh.
