Is SUNY Purchase a good school for Psychology. I'm really looking to get into a good Grad program after I get my B.A. I have visited Purchase and Ramapo (NJ) and I like both of the campuses and areas. I am also looking at Penn State Abington. They all only offer bachelor degrees and no doctorate. Which one is more respected for Psychology and will get me into a better grad program/ internship?

bumpbumpppp

are you in-state for purchase? if yes, then go there

no but I’m not concerned with tuition, I just want the best psych program.

If money is not a concern, why are you limiting your choices to regional or second tier schools? One of the SUNY University Centers, Rutgers or Penn State University Park would offer better psych programs and would definitely be more recognized by grad schools.

^ exactly what i was going to say. none of the schools you listed are better than the others, so you might want to just save money.

Because my mother does not want me going further than 2 hours away. University Park is too far and Rutgers is too close.

What about Stony Brook? It has a great psych program and is a much better school than Purchase.
