Im in the same boat, applied Nov 1, have good test scores(1470) but an avg GPA of 3.5 W. I applied in engg which is very competitive. Meanwhile Binghamton accepted me by first week in Dec.
Im also a legacy, but I heard that doesnt matter
I applied Nov 1 and have 33 ACT and 3.75 gpa, and went undecided, I got into BU and Bing but just waiting for stony, not hearing anything by now is troubling.
Applied on 12/30. Checked yesterday and got accepted. Waiting for Honor program and FA award.

I applied 12/1 instate as a Journalism major and I havenāt heard anything. Should I be worried? Who else hasnāt heard back yet?
@Academicstress Major: Chemical and Molecular Engineering. My friend applied in Nov and received Presidential Scholarship in Dec. I didnāt ask how much she received award because sheās depressed after deferred by Stanford.
@gsbc12 We havenāt heard either Applied Nov 1, Electricial Engg . 3.6 GPA, 1470 SAT, Great EC. and one of top HS in LIā¦ Got into Bing, Penn State, Rutgers, U Del, and all the local ones like Hofstra, Adelphi Honors, St Johns etcā¦ not a word from stony brook
Donāt assume they will send you an email. Just go to portal to check status. I didnāt get an email, so I have no idea when was accepted. Good luck.
Looks like FA office is working today. I received an email and offered me 2 scholarships with total over 20K for 4 years. No updates in SBU Solar portal.
Got new student tab today on portal. Havenāt received official email. Applied on January 12th for chemical and molecular engineering. 1320 sat. 3.7uw/3.91w gpa.

Hi everyone, I applied 12/15 as a clinical laboratory science major. Did anyone else get accepted to the school of health technology and management? I am a bit worried, got accepted from UAlbany, SUNY Oswego, Hofstra, SUNY Plattsburgh already. SBU is one of my top choices.
