SUNY Transfer Chances

<p>I am a freshman currently go to York College of Pennsylvania and PA is extremely boring compared to NY(no offense if you live in Pa). I want to Transfer to a SUNY school for fall 2011 to save money and hopefully have more fun.</p>

<p>HS Stats:</p>

<p>Gpa - 2.98
SATs - 1200
M - 670
Cr - 530</p>

<p>College Stats:
Gpa - 2.7-3.1</p>

<p>I am a first semester freshman and I was a Mechanical Engineering major taking Calculus 1, Chemistry 1, Writing 1, World Religions, and Engineering 1. These are considered "harder" classes than what most freshman take. I switched my major to Business Administration and will be taking classes in which I will have a much higher Gpa.</p>

<p>Schools I am applying to:
SUNY Binghamton(for the hell of it)
SUNY Albany
SUNY Oswego
SUNY Brockport</p>

<p>Not very well versed with transfer admissions, but like you stated binghamton will be a big reach. I think you stand a reasonable chance with the others.</p>

<p>agreed that bing will be a reach, but the others are possible. you may also want to consider buffalo, cortland, canton, and potsdam</p>

<p>Yeah gpa is a little low for bing but you have a decent shot at the others. Good luck.</p>

but yea bing is def a reach. try stony? and also like they said the other ones like potsdam, fredonia, farmingdale, etc.</p>
