Superlatives - Are they okay to include on college apps?

<p>I've received the "Best Junior player" and "Best Section Leader" superlatives in Marching Band over the 4 years I've participated in it. These aren't the kind of superlatives that are voted on; my band director specifically awarded them to me. </p>

<p>Can I include these things under the "Awards" section of my activity sheet?? Thoughts....?</p>

<p>I got a marching award and put that in the honors won/accomplishments section. My thought process was that just because it is only a band wide award doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value in terms of showing that you are an active and/or talented contributor to the band which is of course a good quality.</p>
