Superscore 2400 versus 2000 ACTUAL

Suppose I have these SAT scores:

M 800 WR 600 CR 600

M 600 WR 800 CR 600

M 600 WR 600 CR 800

Technically, I would have a 2400 for colleges that super score. A number of prestigious colleges superscore, including MIT and Harvard.

But even so, I have a question. If I happen to get those or around those scores (since it is obviously much easier to study and concentrate on individual sections), would I look like a 2400 scorer or 2000 scorer in the adcom's eyeballs?

The short answer is that you would look like a person with a 2400.

^I agree. Even schools that don’t use score-choice state that they use your highest scores on each section to evaluate you

Ya, I agree. You still have a 2400 in adcoms eyes. Though, I definately could see them getting annoyed that you slacked off on 2/3 subjects tested on every exam. Of course, I would hope that when you took the test for your third time (after you had masted Writing, CR, and Math), that you would have a high total school anyway.

Your scores are really interesting. Lol, did you really just slack off on the other sections, or what?

^^It’s theoretical.

If I were an adcom, I’d actually be slightly amused if someone actually did this. It proves competence, and kind of a way around the system.
