Superscore

Would USC look down upon these SAT scores if I was going to go into engineering
1st sitting: Cr: 670 M: 770 W: 650 Total: 2090
2nd sitting: Cr: 700 M: 690 W: 730 Total: 2120
Superscore: Cr: 700 M: 770 W: 730 Total: 2200

I know USC superscores but will the huge drop in math look bad? I heard that super scoring is somewhat of a fallacy since colleges can see all the scores and say that my first math was just a fluke. So my question is: Does the huge drop in math significantly effect my chances of getting into Viterbi (USC engineering school)?

^ Nope. They only care about the higher score.

ok thanks

Since this is a superscore thread I will ask if some of you in the education field know why colleges superscore the SAT but not the ACT? There are some schools that superscore both, but the majority still does not superscore the ACT. Just curious to know the reasoning…

Oh and OP, sorry to hijack your thread but had a general superscore question that seemed to fit. And btw, 770 is a sweet math score, congrats. The lower one is irrelevant as said above.
