superscoring from 8th grade

can i use a score from 8th grade (out of 2400) to superscore with the one i got this year as a junior?

lol you mean you actually went DOWN in a section after 4 years?

maybe the curve was easier 4 years ago, cos it was new? I'm not sure.. Haha maybe she was lucky 4 years back!

Hahaha (10 char)

lol yeah i got a 790 on math this year and an 800 back then.

hey, it was ONE QUESTION!!! >:|

Lmfao. Are you for real? x]

i'm pretty sure you can't. the 8th grade score won't even show up on your score report. at least mine isn't

aw that sucks lol HAHAAHA

lol i have never heard of somebody regressing in four years... oh well, at that level, it's mostly about luck anyway. 790 is a great score, don't worry about it!

i probably got the same number right =(

8th grade scores don't count on score reports, since you arent registered as a high school student. sorry, but you won't be able to send in that 800. imo, ~750 or above is the same for colleges, so there definately isn't much of a difference in 790 and 800. (750 may be somewhat low, but you get the picture). colleges won't reject you because you got a 790 instead of an 800.

now if its for bragging rights, sure go ahead and tell all your friends that you got an 800. what would they know? ;)

On your resume, put that you got an 800 on Math in 8th grade. That should tell the admissions office that you're a little special. Now of course they don't know 100% if that's true, but you can put it on there. Still, they'll mainly look at the collegeboard score report.

haha okay ;)
