Ok, so I know there are many threads about superscoring the SAT, but the one's I've seen haven't answered my question. Do colleges/universities that superscore look at your SAT scores you recieved in 1 sitting? Someone told me there's something like a machine that automatically superscores all your SAT scores that you send to admissions. So do colleges/universities that superscore the SAT look only at your superscored SAT or do they take into account your scores you got in 1 sitting? Like if someone got a 1960 and 2040 on two SAT tests, but their superscore ends up being like 2170, do colleges look at the 1960 and 2040 to use in admission? If this question doesn't make sense please allow me to clarify.

I believe I understand the question …and the answer is, if the college superscores, that’s what they use …the superscore, not the individual sittings. Some superscore for admission, some for scholarship, some for both.
