Hey guys, so I was on Common App the other day just scanning over my colleges when I decided to count how many supplements I would have to write. Turns out that I have 18 of them...
I just wanted advice on how to tackle this many supplements and if any of you guys have had around this much supplements as well, or several of them in general, and how you were able to do them all.

Em, for example, I wrote around 30 essays, for 20 universities :D. It’s easier because, some universities have the same questions ( describe place one or two your exta-activity and etc).

My advice early on would have been to start in August, but I guess it’s too late for that.

Start by prioritizing your schools. Begin with the essays required by the schools in which you are most interested. Then do as Ar4ybaldik suggests and adapt your existing essays where you can for the remaining schools. Then write whichever essays seem easy or flow freely. Then get essays done for upcoming deadlines. Finally, write whatever else is needed. Try to leave yourself a week or two before deadlines to review and edit. Set aside time each day to work on your essays and answers, even if it’s just 15 minutes. Dedicate larger amounts of time when you can.

You should go through the list and see which of them are very similar and can share the core part of the essay. There are websites that actually tell you how many different essays you actually need for the schools you picked (e.g. collegeessayorganizer). For the 16 essays from 8 schools and CA on my D’s list, she actually need to write only 6 topics. Of course, some would need to be significantly adapted fro specific school or program.
