The Vanderbilt supplemental question says “approximately 250 words”. Do you think the essay can go over this word limit, and if so, by how much? I am getting conflicting answers.
If it was me, I’d try to get as close to 250 (or less) as possible. Call it under 260 (so it is still 25X).

Agree - stick to (or VERY close to) the limit.
