<p>I have decided to send in a supplemental letter of recommendation. (Trust me, I think it's worthwhile.) </p>
<p>Do I need to check by "Supplemental Materials" on the Yale Supplement "Other," or should I just send it in?</p>
<p>"Supplemental Materials" refers to fine arts supplement -- music, art, etc. So don't check that box. Just give your supplemental recommendation writer a stamped envelope addressed to Admissions. Make sure he/she includes your full name and address and the name of your high school in the letter. My son asked his supplemental rec writer to include his SS# as well.</p>
