Supplementary Essay?

Hmm. Did any of you send in a supplementary essay for Dartmouth? My main essay is strong, but they would get a better impression of me from another (focusing on humor, irony, parody). However, I feel as though they wouldn't want to bother reading another 500 word essay. What do you think?

I doubt it would make too much of a difference, if at all.

Don't waste your time, they didn't ask for one.

It can't hurt. Send it in, if they have some free time, they'll read it.

Would it be too much if I send in TWO? Since , there's not much in the Dartmouth supplement anyway..

I just sent in one essay, and then I sent in a research abstract...it can't hurt, I guess =/

yeah, i did the same.

when do they start reading applications?

I did the same as Indian.

yea, i sent in too many supp materials. whoa whoa.

I just sent in an additional reccomendation that I think went further than the teacher ones. I considered sending in a supp essay but I've heard it really doesn't make a difference.
