<p>I sent in an additional recommendation from a professor that taught me at a summer program. I also had a link to a blog w/ some short research pieces I did at the same summer program in my additional information, but I doubt they had time to follow it and it was more there in case they wanted verification.</p>
<p>I sent a recommendation from my employer, since I wrote my personal statement about the impact that job has had on me.</p>
