Hey everyone. I'm a junior applying really early since I won't be able to when most people do, but I'm very confused!

I'm applying using the common app, and the NYU supplement to the common app isn't out yet, I guess (so says the common app website). If I go onto embark and check out the NYU application, I see the questions like write a poem describing you, day with a New Yorker, etc. Are those questions the same every year? Should I start working on the poem, or will the application be different for next year?

And if the application is different, when will it be released? I'm afraid August might be a little too late for me, because I'll be leaving the country then for the entire year. I'd like to have everything finished before then so I don't have to fill out my application while I'm abroad.

Thanks

I know in the previous year my friend had a different set of supplement questions than the ones that were given this year. The ones you listed seem to be the ones that were given this year (In fact, I still have a copy of the questions -

NYU Short Answer #1: If you had the opportunity to spend one day in New York City with a famous New Yorker, who would it be and what would you do? (Your New Yorker can be anyone - past or present, fictional or nonfictional - who is commonly associated with New York City; they do not necessarily have to have been born and raised in New York.)

NYU Short Answer #2: Write a haiku, limerick, or short (eight lines or less) poem that best represents you.

NYU Short Answer #3: In the year 2050, a movie is being made of your life. Please tell us the name of your movie and briefly summarize the story line.

NYU Short Answer #4: Please tell us what led you to select your anticipated academic program and/or NYU school/college, and what interests you most about your intended discipline.

And also the short little answer they wanted for

NYU: In addition to any work experience that you listed on your application, please tell us how you spent your most recent summer vacation.)

I’m sure they will change next year though ^^;
