Supplimental housing or Dobie?

Hey guys,

I have a choice between supplemental housing and off campus dobie. Now pricing is definitely better with housing but I've dobie is a nice choice. I know a few people living at dobie but they are unsure of themselves so I dont wanna trust their advice. What would you guys pick?

Im choosing to stay at the Castilian, I just personally think its better. The price is good and you only have to share a bathroom with your room-mate instead of the entire floor. I think off-campus dorms are more comfortable than supplemental housing.

I have known many students in supp housing and they have loved it. Most pout when they get transferred into “regular” rooms.

Hey! I live at Dobie right now in a corner suite plus and I really like it. I have a living room with a room and bathroom that I share with one other person. The room itself is bigger than the on-campus dorms. And it’s actually cheaper! I like being able to walk downstairs and being on the drag or campus–right in the middle of college life. I would also try google searching “Freshman Support” and checking out their videos that they have on UT dorms. They give you a true insight of what the college dorms look like and not just some generic model.

Supplemental housing is not bad at all. It is better than a dorm roon – more space!
