supporting financial documents - Chris

This question is intended for Chris, but if anyone else wants to help, they are most welcome :)]

I am an international student and have applied to Stony Brook for Fall 2011.

ok, so today I received an e-mail saying: "I am pleased to inform you that we have reviewed your academic records and you are eligible for admission to Stony Brook University. We appreciate your interest in Stony Brook University and congratulate you on your scholastic achievement. In order to be fully accepted to Stony Brook University and to obtain an I-20 to study at a U.S. institution, you must submit a Letter of Employment verifying your mother's annual income in order for the committee to determine your eligibility for enrollment."

The thing is, my mother is only temporarily employed and receives her salary for the number of hours she works. Also, she has been working for the company for only three months. The e-mail also mentioned that Stony Brook wants me to send them a statement from the employer veryfying my mother's ANNUAL income. This cannot be done, since she has only worked for three months, and at the most, we could supply Stony Brook with her monthy income slip. Would this suffice?

Send what you have, then follow up with a call or e-mail to see if it’s enough; it’s hard to say here without having one of our international folks look at the documents.
