Well, I woke up to a txt message on my cell phone from my daughter, sent at 1am. "I am going here".

Guess the party was a good time!

AAWWW DOBIESK - that is great news - she must have had a great time - happy camper = happy parent - and welcome to the W&L family - Once a General - always a General lol

Glad to hear it, guys!

It will be painful to mail the card away today, but after much deliberation my son will be saying no to W&L (and a big scholarship--tears from mom and dad on that part). So there's at least one more spot open for one of you guys! Good luck.

GFG, that's a really hard decision to make-- my parents and I had to make a very similar one regarding Rhodes vs. W&L. My parents insisted I go to the school I want and they would make it happen financially. I got the scholarship to Rhodes but am paying full price of W&L instead... it's worth it to go where you really want in the long run!

Morgan, Best of luck to you. W&L is a great school, and if your parents can afford it, then I'm glad you made that decision.

Thanks; yeah, I'm a freshman here now and am not regretting the decision. I do wonder what it would have been like at Rhodes though...

I'm sure we'll wonder what it would have been like to have the $124,000 toward tuition, because we're not getting that elsewhere!
