I was just suspended for 1 day from my high school for forgetting to attend a monday school (due to 5 tardies, each about 20 secs late :/ ).
I am just wondering whether or not colleges really care if this monday school and subsequent suspension are products of a few careless tardies, not an actual "disciplinary action?" The tardy rules are written in our student guidebook and therefore they have the right to suspend me.

in your common application you have to write why you were suspended and what you learned from it.

from what i know, my district doesn’t report in school suspensions so i didnt write about it, but you should write how now you are on-time to everything and you are a better person after being disciplined. talk about how your school’s disciplinary system “worked”. oh yeah that can only work if you are on time from now on :p.
